I'm sorry, it has been forever since I have posted a blog! This is definitely the most wonderful time of the year, but also the busiest! After a lot of hard work (and stress on my part!) we had our Christmas program at school. It was a huge success. I'll have to admit, I was extremely nervous. I normally get a little nervous about programs, mainly because of the unpredictable factor, but I was really nervous about this. Everytime my students would practice, they would forget the words, or go too fast or too slow! When the big day came, they did fantastic! The gym was packed with parents, more than I have ever seen come to a school program. I had three groups of students sing, plus the dance team and cheerleaders performed. It was definitely better than last year's program. Now my next challenge is finding a musical that 5th grade can perform in the spring! There is always something to prepare for. Sorry for such a short post, but as it is now Christmas break, I have to get started on wrapping presents, cleaning house, and all of those other things that have been neglected until now!
